Poster Prize winners

We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2023 New Phytologist next generation scientists poster competition. 

Winner - Chung-Wing Ko, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for her poster "Root traits and belowground characteristics reveal nutrient uptake strategies across old-growth and secondary forests in Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve"

Runners up - Lloyd Balinado, Cavite State University, Philippines for his poster " More than just a fiber: A literature- and transcriptome-based exploration of the medicinal application potentials of abaca (Musa textilis Née)"

Nattapong Sanguankiattichai, University of Oxford, UK for his poster "A novel multifunctional glycosidase inhibitor from plant pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas syringae: its discovery, biosynthesis and biological roles"
