Chong Kwek Yan is a Senior Researcher at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, National Parks Board, where he coordinates the Tropical Forest Ecology Research programme. The anchor project of this programme, Long-Term Forest Ecological Monitoring, will maintain a network of permanent plots in Singapore's nature reserves and parks. He is also an adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, a research affiliate of the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions, and an honorary affiliate of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, at the National University of Singapore.
