Entry requirements to USA

International visitors to the USA will need to have a valid ESTA or visa. Full details, including a way to check if you ESTA is still valid, are available on the US Customs and Border Protection site.

Visa requirements for USA

International attendees should check the visa requirements for their country using the Visa Wizard.   Some may be eligible to travel under a Visa Waiver, and others may need to apply for a visa. Full details about visa requirements are available at Travel.State.Gov

If you do require a visa, visa invitation letters can be provided to successful applicants on request. This letter will set out the support that the New Phytologist Foundation will provide to assist your attendance at the symposium. An invitation letter is not a substitute for an official visa. Please note we cannot provide additional assistance with the visa application process, other than providing an invitation letter to aid with the application process. If your visa application is unsuccessful the New Phytologist Foundation cannot engage in any discussion with visa-issuing authorities and will not contact any embassies on delegates’ behalf. We encourage you to seek assistance from your academic institution for any visa issues.

Due to the time it may take to apply for a visa, delegates are encouraged to start the visa application process as soon as they receive confirmation their application has been accepted.

If your visa has not been approved 40 days prior to the symposium, please contact the Events and Promotions Manager
